I made a huge breakfast again - cinnamon rolls, egge & cheese burritos, sausage, COFFEE...
The Dude came over and ate with us and then he went to the game too. :)
It was a good game, and since there were only 6 girls there today, they all ran their butts off. Sarah did a great job and took a beating several times, but she scored the first basket of the game and had some great shots that just didn't quite make it in. All of the other parents were commenting about how much she has improved - that was great to hear!
I ended up giving Alex my camera partway through the game to keep him entertained because he was being a bit of an obnoxious brat, so he took some interesting pictures. The ones that he took of the game came out as big blurs, but he also amused himself with some self-portraits.
After the game we came back here and hung out for a while, then The Dude had to go take care of some things at home and we had to run Sarah to a friend's house. Then Alex's father came and got him for a few hours - I thought that only having 3 kids would make for an easy evening, but the three who were left had other ideas and were at each others' throats for a while. I did a ton of cleaning and finished some dress alterations for a friend....and now the kids are asleep and the house is quiet.
It was a crazy, crazy day. But it was a good day too.
Last night, the kids were playing, and Daniel decided at some point that he was done. Yep, on the cold hardwood floor, eyes half open. Ick. I hate when they do that. *shudder*
