Last official stop.....

Fun day. Tiring day.

We are going to try to make it home tonight. It's about a 7 hour drive. Not sure if we'll do it or not. If I get too tired, we'll stop for the night.....

Can't wait to put my thoughts on the whole trip together coherently...... :)

  1. CAN'T FIGURE WHERE THESE [PICTURES WERE TAKEN. ANYWAYS IT LOOKS LIKE THE KIDS HAVE HAD A GOOD TIME BUT I BET THEY'LL BE GLAD TO GET HOME ANS INTO THEIR BEDS. YOU NEED TO GET YOURSELF A CAMPER OR A GOOD MOTORHOME FOR YOUR NEXT TRIP. THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG. IT WAS FUN.

  3. Granny those were from the top of the arch in St. Louis - I didn't realize that I didn't say that! LOL

We made it home at about 11:30 last night. Now it's back to reality for us. I have to get the van unloaded and get everything put away but at least most of the clothes are clean!

  6. LOL Mare, now that I'm at home and on my computer rather than the phone, I can do so much more! I have so many more ideas for posts just from this trip, so there will be lots of stuff to look forward to! ;)

My hosts - all of them - were incredible and they will all get shout-outs, even if I don't have pictures of all of them (how does that happen, anyway?) to post.

    :)

  7. How long did you have to wait in line?

  8. Sharyn - We didn't. :) You can call 2 hours ahead of time and reserve your tickets for a specific time. There's a $3 service charge to do it, but it was well worth it considering the line when we got there. We actually got there earlier than we had planned, so I had them bump up the time for our reservation and we just immediately got in the line to go up. It was wonderful!!!

  9. And here I was thinking that the picture of the capitol was taken from your hotel room window.

The pictures are pretty. It'll be interesting to read about the trip.

  10. BrightenedBoy - I have a ton of pictures that I took from the top - I just now realized that I've hardly posted any of them on here. Those will be saved for a future post! ;)

If I remember correctly, the capital-looking building is actually a courthouse....? I had to question my kids as to whether or not St. Louis was actually the capital of Missouri, and I was informed by them in no uncertain terms that it was not and that it is actually Jefferson City. I'm glad that they're paying attention in school!

I have only two rules - don't reveal anyone's personal information, and be respectful. It's not difficult, honest. Now, go on and play.
