And here I just thought that I would mow the yard and be done with it.
I did manage to total a car with the mower.
I got all of the trees mowed down out back...
But the best part of the whole day was discovering a naked lady in my yard!
Yes, it is true. I have a whole bunch of naked ladies in my yard. I've seen them all over town and have always wondered what they were. Then after we moved in here and I was talking to one of my neighbors, he told me that there were naked ladies in my backyard - at first I had no idea what he was talking about, but it suddenly dawned on me!
So now that I know where this one is, I have to keep my eyes out for the rest. Since they seemingly grow out of nowhere, they are hard to spot until they get taller. I remember more-or-less where the leaves came up this spring, but they're gone now so it's just a waiting game to see how many will grow.
I lead such an exciting life....
They are also known as Resurrection Lilies because they come up as green, bushes that die off, then a few weeks later, the lilies appear.
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor across the street has lots of naked ladies. I just have boring flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title I was going to say,"Haven't we all ?" but then I realized that was probably a gender specific comment. :) Yes, that is a smart alecky grin.
ReplyDeletecute post. ahhhh... the things we kill with our mowers. although - a big head nod from over here as I officially put "mowing the yard" up with "shoveling snow" on my list of -if you want to eat the food I cook - I will not do this - when we got married :)
ReplyDeleteso ... you rock. Kristen
LOL Kristen, I don't mind mowing - but it can be difficult to mow and keep track of the kids at the same time!
ReplyDeleteGlad everyone enjoyed it - thought I'd catch all of you off-guard with the title! ;)
Hahaha. Exciting, indeed. It's not everyday you get to catch some naked ladies chilling outside your house!
