I'm going to gloat. Deal with it.

I was looking back through some old pictures on my facebook page tonight in order to find some that I wanted to show to The Dude. I found this one of me and Daniel that was taken when we went to Oklahoma City in October, 2009.

And then this one was taken tonight of me and Alex.

Do you see the difference? Do you see it?

Holy crap. I mean, I know that I've lost weight, but it didn't seem like that much. People have told me that they've noticed a difference, but I didn't believe them. But looking at these two pictures tonight just totally stunned me.

I'm almost looking forward to wearing girl clothes on Saturday.

Stop laughing. I said almost.

And yes, we will be taking lots of pictures, and we will get someone to take pictures of us together. And yes, I will be posting them. There will be photographic evidence of me in girl clothes, I promise. I'll only be able to post from my phone while we're gone, but once we get back I'll get the good camera pictures posted too.

  2. it is true. There is a big difference Amy. Sometimes it takes a before and after picture and a whole lot of convincing before we actually believe it. And a couple of changes in sizes of clothes. But you know what I mean. Congratulations! You look amazing! Wearing that dress and looking yourself in mirror all dressed up will probably make you cry... I take that back... not you. But it made me cry when it happened to me. Keep on going!

  8. Amazing Amy! Good Job! It's funny how we don't see ourselves changing like that. You've worked for it, enjoy it! Now instead of just wearing girl clothes, you'll be totally strutting your stuff! Have Fun!

    1. Thank you Shanna! I do feel better - and I swear, seeing those pictures just gave me more motivation - I just wish that I could get out and do something about it right now. But, until this pleurisy stuff goes away completely, I'm stuck. I can give you a virtual kick in the pants if you think that would work...

    1. I'm not sure why you've been having problems - as far as I know, it's been fine for everyone else. But at least it seems to be working for now.

      And thank you!
