Parade of Lights

Tonight was the Parade of Lights in town to kick off the holiday season. Our church always does a float, and the kids and I rode on it last year. As soon as I mentioned it to them this time, they jumped at the opportunity.

So we bundled up in the freezing windy weather and we went for it. We had a great time - although I spent the entire time holding the Christmas tree up on the float so that it didn't fall on my head.

Did I mention that it was cold out?

Yes, that's Elvis.

And yes, that's a camel.

And if you want to see the picture of me with my roadkill reindeer antlers on, you'll have to go to my facebook page to see that!

It was a good night. We had fun. After we got home, the kids all got nice hot baths to thaw out before bedtime.

Tomorrow, we get to get up at the crack of dawn to get everyone to school and all of that fun stuff, and then Jared has his Christmas program at school tomorrow evening, so the chaos continues.

  2. Shoot, Granny, I just saw this. She is doing well - I talked to her on Friday for her birthday and she sounded good. Thanks for asking!

I have only two rules - don't reveal anyone's personal information, and be respectful. It's not difficult, honest. Now, go on and play.
