Catching up with Fingerprint Friday

It's been a while since I've participated in Fingerprint Friday over at The Rusted Chain - sometimes life just gets a bit chaotic, you know?

So if you're not familiar with Fingerprint Friday, here's an excerpt from Beki's blog that explains it:

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them?

If you go back to her blog (see the link above) you'll see Fingerprint Friday entries from lots of bloggers - go look at their blogs, and you'll see some wonderful things!!!

Indoor pools and swimming with the kids when it's too rainy to go to the lake

Storms bringing much needed rain to our area

Boys playing together at the park for hours

Kids bobbing around in the lake

While this has been a week of devastating loss, there have been so many positive things as well. We have grand plans for the summer - some as simple as afternoons hanging out at the lake, and some as crazy as driving 3000+ miles across the country to spend time with friends and family.

Life is good.

I have only two rules - don't reveal anyone's personal information, and be respectful. It's not difficult, honest. Now, go on and play.
